Function and Operation

This device does not convert a firearm into a machine gun.

The KRD-3 functions by mechanically assisting the trigger’s reset after each individual shot, enabling faster and more efficient semi-automatic trigger operation. At no point does the device allow more than one round to be discharged per trigger pull. The shooter must independently pull the trigger for every shot fired.

Buffer & Compatibility Requirements

A heavier buffer (H2–H3) is required for proper operation.

Do not use a solid, non-moving buffer. The buffer must contain internal sliding weights (“shake weight” style) to ensure proper function.

The KRD-3 has been tested and verified to operate reliably with mil-spec lowers and mil-spec trigger groups. Other trigger groups may function correctly; however, we have not tested a wide enough range of configurations to confirm full compatibility.
